Kim Peralta trained in Pune, India under B.K.S. Iyengar from 1989 until his death in 2014. She received her Level 1 Iyengar teaching certificate in 1991 and was upgraded to Level lll in 1996. Kim was a co-founder of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of New York in 1992, was founder/teaching director of the Iyengar Yoga School of Northern New Jersey from 1996 - 2008 and the Iyengar Yoga Center, Brooksville, Maine from 2010 - 2020. She currently teaches in Warwick, NY.
